TERMS & CONDITIONS

By making a booking with Whipsnade Target Sports you agree to these terms and conditions.

• All clients must be over 18 to shoot at Whipsnade Target Sports.

• It is an offence for a person who is prohibited by Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968 to have a firearm or ammunition in his/her possession at any time.  This Section applies to any person who has been sentenced to imprisonment or to youth custody or detention in any young offenders’ institution for three months or more.  A person sentenced to a period between 3 months and 3 years is prohibited for 5 years from the date of release. A person sentenced to 3 years or more is prohibited for life.  It is an offence for a person to transfer, let, hire, or lend a firearm or ammunition to someone whom he knows or has reasonable grounds for believing to be a prohibited person. By making a booking with Whipsnade Target Sports you declare you are not a person prohibited by virtue of Section 21 of the Firearms Act 1968. If we suspect you are prohibited by any of the above when you turn up you will not participate and will not receive a refund.

• It is an offence to be drunk in charge of a loaded gun under the Licensing Act 1872. 

• You declare that you are not under the influence of alcohol, drugs or medication. If this is suspected when your turn up on the day you will not participate and will not receive a refund.

• You confirm that I am fit and well and do not have any health conditions which may affect me using firearms.

• Shooting Firearms can be dangerous if not conducted in a safe manor. You agree to listen to all of our instructors commands and failure to do so and we reserve the right to stop you from participating or even ask you to leave. No refund will be given if this happens.

• For security and legal reasons to make a booking you must send a photo of a valid identification document, this must be a valid and in date Driving Licence, Passport, Firearms Licence. Failure to do this and a booking will not be made.

• You must sign a disclaimer before any activities start, failure to do this and you will not participate and not receive a refund.

• You must provide a valid identification document on arrival, this must be a valid and in date Driving Licence, Passport, Firearms Licence. Failure to do so and you will not participate and will not receive a refund.

• When making a booking for an experience day the total fee will be due up front upon making the booking. No refund will be given if you decide to cancel less than 14 days before the date of the day.

• Up to 14 days prior to the event you may cancel for a full refund or move to an alternative date.
